The Games You Want to Play – Part VI…
Brass: Birmingham
This is a fairly new game that has become a favorite for our group. It is similar in style to Brass: Lancashire, but with a couple twists. The game mechanics are fairly straightforward, however there is a lot of depth in the gameplay. We have found we can finish it in a single evening of play and that it plays well with 2, 3, or 4, thanks to the adjustable setup.
Brass: Birmingham is an economic strategy game sequel to Martin Wallace’ 2007 masterpiece, Brass. Birmingham tells the story of competing entrepreneurs in Birmingham during the industrial revolution, between the years of 1770-1870.
As in its predecessor, you must develop, build, and establish your industries and network, in an effort to exploit low or high market demands.
